Kristina Austi (b. 1978) is a Lithuanian-born artist residing in Bergen, Norway. She primarily works with digital Jacquard weaving. Curiosity about the woven surface drives her work. She actively uses digital tools in her artistry; anything digitised can be woven. In recent years, she has also incorporated artificial intelligence into her works. She is keen on "training" artificial intelligence to understand the woven surface and never uses verbal commands. Instead, she feeds it with her woven surfaces and motifs to achieve specific visual expressions, which she then translates back into weaving.

In addition to her work with digital weaving, Austi has also taught textile subjects at the University of Bergen and has had long-term collaborations with the textile industry in Western Norway. Austi is dedicated to dissemination and actively works to create a professional environment for digital weaving in Norway through the newly established company VEVFT. This work has resulted in several young artists in Norway beginning to use the medium in their artistry in recent years.

Austi has participated in numerous international group exhibitions, including the Textile Triennials in Riga (Latvia) and Łódź (Poland), the Textile Biennials in Rijswijk (Netherlands), Vilnius (Lithuania), Guimarães (Portugal), and exhibitions in the USA, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, and Sweden.
